ELM Learning Updates

Presenting ELM’s Second Breakfast Event

Adapting Training for a Multi-Generational Workforce

ELM is proud to host our second breakfast event in our new series, designed to bring L&D professionals together to discuss, share, and learn industry best practices. Our featured speaker is Bruce Neal, Vice President of Store Support for the Talbots brand.

A little about ELM

ELM is a learning agency that specializes in creating experiences that inspire growth and change in the world’s leading organizations.

We’re passionate about learning and the learners we serve; that’s why we make learning intuitive, meaningful, fun, and effective. With our NeurolearningTM principles, we create content that works. It sticks with learners and delivers results that transform the way leading businesses learn and grow.

ELM’s Breakfast Series

Over the years, we’ve found that L&D, HR, and talent development professionals rarely have the opportunity to network and share challenges and successes with peers. We created ELM’s breakfast series as an answer to that need. It is a casual, dedicated space for local L&D professionals to connect and grow.

Our Speaker, Bruce Neal

Bruce is Vice President of Store Support for the Talbots brand.

Formerly with T-Mobile and Gateway, Bruce has spent his career in the retail space leveraging modern learning techniques, technical innovation, and efficient operating strategies to differentiate the associate experience.

Bruce will lead a conversation around how companies can begin to bridge the generational divide while continuing to provide effective skills training and career growth for every level of their organization. At a time when Millenials and Gen Z are on the rise and older generations are staying active in the workplace longer than ever before, many companies are facing the unique opportunity of supporting a true “18 to 80” associate population. Their L&D teams are faced with the challenging task of engaging with and training such a diverse, multi-generational workforce.

Join us!

Breakfast will be hosted at The Farm (447 Broadway 2nd floor, New York, NY 10013) on Thursday, March 12 from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
